Casa Capaz

The beginning

Casa Capaz was formed in 2006 as a family-run business. In 2009 Casa Capaz was taken over by Ruth Blackwood. Having spent years in the care industry, Ruth realised that there was a need for alternative holiday opportunities for people with learning disabilities enabling them to enjoy a holiday with professional 24hr care support.

Ruth Blackwood

Originally from Edinburgh, Ruth is now permanently resident in Torrevieja, Costa Blanca. She has 18 years qualified experience in Health and Social Care including working with adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues.

Ruth has a really friendly, outgoing personality. She genuinely loves her work and is totally committed to ensuring that Casa Capaz clients enjoy a fun-packed holiday in the sun by enabling them to do what they want to do at the time and pace which suits them best.

Trained staff

Casa Capaz employs qualified staff trained to the highest UK Standards. Staff hold all appropriate current qualifications including HNC, SVQ3 etc.

Our staff are trained to deal with every situation from minor cuts and bruises to the administering of emergency medication.
