Caring for the carers

Having worked for so long in the caring sector we are very aware of how important it is that carers get an occasional "carefree" break. In addition to offering Care Holidays for people with learning disabilities Casa Capaz also provides Respite Care allowing carers to enjoy a well-earned holiday confident in the knowledge that their charges are receiving the very best of care.

Trained staff

At Casa Capaz we employ only qualified carers trained to the highest UK standards. Prior to being employed, all staff are thoroughly vetted and subject to a Full Disclosure Check. Casa Capaz carers hold first aid qualifications approved by the British Red Cross and are trained to deal with every situation from minor cuts and bruises to the administering of emergency medication. Arrangements are in place for access to English-speaking doctors and modern medical facilities should this be required.

Peace of mind

In short, everything possible is done to ensure that carers are given the peace of mind they need to be able to unwind and reap the full benefit of their own holiday.

The personal touch

At Casa Capaz all care is personally managed and supervised by Bob and Jackie Duncan. Their qualifications and experience ensure that guests receive the best of care while enjoying the warm and friendly atmosphere of a family home.

Short breaks or longer

Casa Capaz Respite Care is totally flexible. Whether you are looking for a full fortnight's holiday or just an afternoon off, we are here to help.
